Cardiff's popular Halloween Festival is moving to Halloween Island in Cardiff Bay for a new spooky experience. Guests can arrive on a Ghost Ship or take a scenic walk to the event, which promises an expanded program of family-friendly activities and entertainment.

Cardiff's Biggest Halloween Celebration Moves to Waterfront

The Cardiff Halloween Festival is set to take place at a new location this year, with Halloween Island making its debut in Cardiff Bay from October 25–31, 2025. Previously held at Coedarhydyglyn Park, the festival has moved to the iconic waterfront due to challenging weather conditions last year.

Exciting New Experience for Guests

Visitors to the Halloween Island event can board the Ghost Ship at Mermaid Quay for a unique boat ride to the festival site at Alexandra Head. Alternatively, guests can enjoy a picturesque walk along the Cardiff Bay Barrage Trail to reach the Halloween Island.
