23 July - 26 July 2026 Atworth Lane, Corsham, SN139TG
Get ready for a spectacular world music festival as WOMAD returns to the heart of Wiltshire! From Thursday 23rd to Sunday 26th July 2026, the fields of Neston Park (off Atworth Lane, near Corsham, SN13 9TG) will be alive with music, dance, art, and vibrant community spirit. Over four magical days, thousands of visitors will gather under open skies to celebrate the very best sounds and cultural traditions from across the globe. WOMAD (World of Music, Arts and Dance) is known for its warm, inclusive atmosphere and eclectic lineup, and 2026 promises to be bigger and brighter than ever!
At WOMAD, you can lose yourself in a tapestry of global rhythms and melodies across multiple stages. From lively African drumming and energetic Latin beats to soulful folk ballads and cutting-edge electronic sounds, there’s something for every ear. Talented artists from around the world will take the stage, blending traditional instruments with modern styles. Expect dancing of all kinds, whether it’s a joyous salsa under the sun or an atmospheric worldbeat set by lantern light. The festival’s music program is always full of surprises, inviting discovery and wonder. Beyond the music, you might stumble on mesmerizing dance performances, spoken-word poetry, and color-filled parades that sweep through the site unexpectedly. It’s a fully immersive experience that encourages you to explore new cultures and step out of your comfort zone.
But WOMAD is more than just concerts. The festival grounds will be dotted with creative workshops, educational activities, and interactive installations for everyone. Build a drum in one workshop, paint a banner in the next, even learn a few yoga moves or capoeira steps along the way. There’s a dedicated children’s area filled with storytelling, arts, and games, so families can enjoy the festivities together. Wander through artisan markets showcasing global crafts and fair-trade goods from independent vendors. Every corner of the site invites participation, whether that means joining a spontaneous dance circle or trying your hand at a community mural. With its emphasis on sustainability and community, WOMAD’s philosophy is to inspire as well as entertain. You’ll leave not only with great memories but also a feeling of having connected with people and cultures from around the world.
Of course, no festival day is complete without delicious food. WOMAD is famous for a global street food lineup that will delight your taste buds: from spicy curries and falafel wraps to vegetarian feasts and sweet treats, often served alongside local ales and specialty teas. The site will feel like a big outdoor picnic: bring your friends, grab a hearty dish from one vendor, and plop down on the grass. Cozy chill-out areas with beanbags and shade let you relax between acts. In the evening, find quiet moments by the lantern-lit bar or join a drum circle under the stars. Whether you want to dance until dawn or unwind around the fire with new friends, WOMAD has the space and spirit for it.
WOMAD has always been about creating a joyful, welcoming community. For 2026, that spirit is alive and stronger than ever at Neston Park. Bring your family, bring your friends (or come make new ones!), and get ready for four unforgettable days of wonder. Whether you’re a dedicated world-music fan or just curious to try something completely new, you’ll find yourself on an extraordinary journey of sound and culture. Once you step into WOMAD, you may never want to leave! So pack your dancing shoes, your curiosity, and your sense of adventure, and join us for a summer celebration that champions unity through the universal language of music and dance. We can’t wait to welcome you to Atworth Lane in July 2026 for the party of the year!
