Wittfest is a free music festival raising money for local charities. Everybody involved gives their time (and raffle prizes!) for free. There is a wide range of musical genres on offer and plenty of opportunity to join in with all of the themed sessions throughout the festival weekend.
The festival starts on the Friday evening at 7pm and runs until late Sunday afternoon. ADMISSION IS FREE, but programmes will be on sale, and we need people to buy lots of raffle tickets, badges, and T-shirts or simply give donations so we can support our chosen charities.
There will be a children's play area and, being situated in the grounds of a riverside pub, loads of food and drink to hand! There will also be a second-hand bookstall, tombola and tea tent.
Last year, the festival raised more than £2,600. The total was divided equally between local music therapy charities, Soundabout and The Guideposts Trust
Camping is available and a few moorings too!
