The Festival at the Edge

A weekend of fantastic storytelling, tall tales, terrific tellers, music and more ... surrounded by breathtaking views of the Shropshire countryside Festival at the Edge is an annual international storytelling festival and the oldest one of its kind in England. Taking place in July, it is nestled alongside the magnificant and magical Wenlock Edge.

From Friday to Sunday there is always something on offer including some of the best international storyteller across music, comedy, performance and the related arts. There are practical workshops, informal music sessions and storytelling so there's always something to do.

The Festival at the Edge has been going since 1999 and is a family- friendly event so a children's festival runs throughout the weekend as well.
