Originally known as StowFest, StowFiesta has been the name for the diverse, local community festival in the town of Stowmarket. It is organised by the local town council and has been known as StowFiesta since 2014. It originally launched in 2006 and has evolved into a two day festival which takes place at Chilton Fields.
Ths 2015 festival is 100% free and can be enjoyed between 19th and 20th June. It has become part of trhe larger Stowmarket Festival and celebrate local bands as well as national acts with a quirky, original and different sounds. They cover all kinds of genres from pop to ska and rock to country with no niche overriding the others. This year’s line up includes Same as Tomorrow, Let Go The Sky, Georgia Rowarth, The Virtues, Georgia Rowarth, The Twice, Alton Wahlberg, Primo Nelson, Alton Wahlberg, Lifecycle, Rhonda Merrick, Alero, Rhonda Merrick, Pistols and Vultures, Doozer Mc Dooze, Little Red Kings, The Kubricks, Mementos, Eve & Richard, Albion Mills, Sun of Elvis, Renegade 12, Max Wildwood, Waxies Dargle, Chelsea Francis, East Coast Collective, and Soul Survivors.
