The Sidmouth Folk Festival has been an on-going event during the 1st week of every August since 1955. It now attracts upwards of tens of thousands of festivalgoers and features a wide variety of events, around 700 to be more precise.
At the event, you will find both new and up-and-coming acts alongside more established and renowned performers from the world of folk music. As well as live music, there will also be plenty of roots parties, folk dancing and ceilidhs, small jam sessions, storytelling and family and youth-centred sessions and some of the finest food and drink at this end of the country.
