Roll up for an action-packed weekend of live music, circus thrills and unforgettable fun!

At its heart, Rock N Roll Circus is a celebration of community and Sheffield pride. Local bands rub shoulders with international stars on the same stage, reflecting the city's legendary music scene. You might see kids learning to dance on grandma's shoulders during classic rock sets, or neighbors chatting excitedly as they line up for the next performance. When the final chord fades and the lights come down, everyone leaves smiling and already counting down the days until the circus comes back. Rock N Roll Circus isn't just a concert or a show – it's a carnival that brings people together, proving that in Sheffield the spirit of music and fun never goes out of style.

Sheffield Arena is easily accessible by car. It’s located just off the M1 motorway (junctions 33 and 34) on Broughton Lane (postcode S9 2DF). Parking is available at the venue, but it can fill up quickly on event days, so plan to arrive early or carpool if possible. An excellent alternative is Park & Ride - the Meadowhall Park & Ride (off J34) and the Nunnery Square Park & Ride (off J33A) offer free parking and a direct tram into the city. Road signage will guide you to the Arena, but be sure to allow extra travel time for possible traffic delays on busy weekends.

Public transport in Sheffield is reliable and convenient for getting to the Arena. The venue even has its own Supertram stop called Arena / Olympic Legacy Park on the Yellow line, which runs frequently to and from the city centre and Meadowhall Interchange. Simply hop on the tram and get off at Broughton Lane - tickets can be purchased on board or via the Stagecoach app. Several bus routes (for example, FirstBus 18, X17 or X3) stop close by at Sheffield Parkway. If you’re arriving by train, Sheffield’s main station is in the city centre – it’s a short taxi ride or one stop on the tram to the Arena. Meadowhall Interchange (train and tram) is another option; from there it’s an easy 5-minute tram trip to the venue.

If you’re flying in, Manchester Airport (about 60 miles west of Sheffield) is the closest full-service international airport. Frequent trains (about one hour) and coaches connect Manchester Airport to Sheffield each day. Leeds Bradford Airport (about 50 miles north) and East Midlands Airport (about 50 miles south) are also within easy reach, each offering bus or train connections into Sheffield’s city centre. From any airport or train station in Sheffield, simply take a taxi or Supertram to the Arena. Note that all the UK’s major airports offer car rental and taxi services if you prefer to drive directly.

Sheffield has plenty of accommodation options for festival visitors. Many attendees stay in hotels or guesthouses in the city centre (just a short tram ride from the Arena) or near Meadowhall on the outskirts of town. Popular chains like Premier Inn, Travelodge and Holiday Inn have convenient locations, and there are also smaller boutique hotels and guesthouses scattered around the city. Because Rock N Roll Circus draws a large crowd, it’s a good idea to book your room early. While you’re in town, take advantage of Sheffield’s vibrant restaurant and pub scene – and if you stay near Meadowhall, there are dining and shopping options right next to the venue. Finally, check the venue’s website or Travel South Yorkshire for any travel alerts (roadworks or service updates) on the day of your visit.
