National Eisteddfod
The National Eisteddfod is a festival celebrating Welsh culture and is generally held over and eight day period starting in the first week of August. The location of the festival rotates between venues in north and south Wales to give all communities across the country a chance to welcome up to 160,000 visitors.
The Eisteddfod is a celebration of Wales, its culture and its language - the Welsh language is an integral part to the festival but it is not only for Welsh speakers. An eclectic mix of old and new, the traditional and the modern, the Eisteddfod It features all kinds of performances across music, dance, visual arts and more.
