Welcome to the Napton Music Festival, a two-day summer celebration set in the picturesque village of Napton on the Hill in Warwickshire. Against a backdrop of rolling English countryside, the festival promises an unforgettable weekend under open skies on July 3-4, 2026. Located atop Napton's famous hilltop, the venue offers spectacular panoramic views across Warwickshire’s patchwork of fields and hedgerows. Whether you're a festival veteran or a first-time visitor, you'll immediately feel at home in Napton's warm, friendly atmosphere.

Throughout the weekend, live performances take place on multiple stages, offering a diverse mix of musical styles to suit every taste. Local bands and up-and-coming artists share the spotlight with headline acts and crowd favorites, so expect to hear everything from folk and indie to pop and rock. Each day begins in the afternoon, allowing plenty of daylight sets, and continues into the evening for late-night shows under the summer sky. The main stage will host headliners each night with energetic party sets and sing-along favorites. Meanwhile, smaller stages and acoustic corners offer a more relaxed vibe, where you can discover new music and enjoy intimate performances away from the big crowds.

But music is just the beginning of the fun at Napton Music Festival. The onsite marketplace boasts a variety of food vendors serving local treats and international street food. Sip on craft beers or refreshing festival drinks from the bar tents while browsing craft stalls filled with handmade gifts and festival essentials. Families with children will find plenty to enjoy too: colorful arts and crafts workshops, friendly games, and face painting are available to keep little ones entertained while the grown-ups relax. If you need a break from the energy, there are chill-out areas scattered around the grounds for picnics and shade – perfect for taking in the summer sun with friends.

This community-focused festival also makes the most of Napton's unique character. Take a stroll through the historic village center to see the medieval St. Lawrence Church and the Napton windmill, both adding old-world charm to the area. The festival site is not far from the Oxford Canal, where a scenic walk or even a boat trip on the water can be a refreshing break between sets. Many attendees choose to camp on site to fully embrace the weekend vibe – imagine waking up to acoustic guitar tunes and coffee aromas under the Warwickshire sunrise. The festival campground offers toilets, showers, and a café, making it a comfortable base from which to enjoy all the musical adventures.

Above all, Napton Music Festival is about bringing people together. You will find a friendly, down-to-earth crowd, from couples and families to friends who share a love of music and the outdoors. The volunteer-led event prides itself on being inclusive and welcoming – even first-timers quickly feel like part of the village family. So grab your friends, pack a blanket (and maybe a raincoat just in case), and get ready for a weekend of great tunes, warm sunshine, and countryside charm. The Napton Music Festival team cannot wait to welcome you to Napton on the Hill for two magical days of music and community spirit.

By car: Napton on the Hill is easily reached by road. Major highways include the M40 (exit 12 at Kineton) and the M42/M6 from Birmingham or Coventry. From the M40, exit at Kineton and follow local roads toward Napton (festival signs may be posted on event days). From the M42/M6, exit near Coleshill and follow the A446/A45 south, then take country lanes westwards. The final stretch is a pleasant drive through Warwickshire countryside. Ample parking is provided in fields near the site, but arriving early on festival days is advised to find a convenient spot and allow time to walk in.

By train: The nearest mainline stations are Rugby and Leamington Spa (each about 20-25 minutes by car). Both offer frequent train services from London, Birmingham, Manchester and other cities. From those stations, visitors can take a taxi directly to Napton (it is a short 20-25 minute drive). There is a Stagecoach bus (route 665) that links Leamington Spa and Daventry with a stop at Napton on the Hill (Kings Head). However, this bus runs only a few times per day, so it is wise to check schedules in advance. If traveling from other rail hubs, note that Banbury and Coventry stations are also roughly 30 minutes from Napton by road – from there you could take a taxi or check any local bus options.

By bus: Local bus routes serve Napton on the Hill, but service frequency is modest. London airports (Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton) are approximately 2 hours away. After flying in, your best options are generally to rent a car or use rail connections into the Midlands and continue by land. Always allow extra travel time when combining flights with train or bus connections.

Larger hotels and guesthouses can be found in Leamington Spa, Rugby or Daventry (each about 20-25 miles by car). Accommodations fill up quickly on festival weekends, so plan ahead.
