Midhurst Jazz, Food & Blues Festival
The Midhurst Jazz, Food & Blues Festival is a three-day celebration of music, cuisine, and community, held in the heart of the South Downs. It transforms Midhurst’s historic venues into candlelit speakeasies and blues bars, drawing inspiration from iconic jazz scenes in New York, Paris, and Buenos Aires.
Live Music & Performances
Expect award-winning jazz, funk, and blues artists from the UK, Europe, and Argentina. The festival pays tribute to Cowdray Park’s polo heritage with a South American twist, blending local and international talent in immersive, walking-tour style venues.
Food & Cultural Experience
Festival menus and cocktail lists are curated to showcase seasonal British produce alongside South American flavours. Culinary surprises and themed dishes enhance the immersive atmosphere.
Community & Education
The festival includes workshops, youth masterclasses, and sessions for older residents. Ten percent of net proceeds fund a scholarship for a local music student, reinforcing its commitment to cultural development.
Vision & Impact
Festival Director Adam Page describes the event as “a cultural event, local and international at the same time,” aiming to reclaim Midhurst’s artistic identity while spotlighting local talent and businesses.
