Manchester Jazz Festival has been celebrated since the 90s and brings together hundreds of avid jazz fans and appreciators of different styles of the genre. Bringing together many artists from many different styles of jazz, the Manchester Jazz Festival offer a combination of free and paid events that people of all ages can enjoy.
In 2015 Manchester Jazz Festival is celebrating its twentieth year and they are showcasing 20 summers of fantastic, memorable and enjoyable jazz. Celebrated from 31st July until 8th August, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy exceptional and inspirational jazz from well-known musicians as well as newcomers. As yet they haven’t announced the line-up but they promise over 70 acts across many venues throughout the city and over half of them will be free. New commissions will premiere this year and with 60,000 attendees in 2014, it’s bound to be at least as big in 2015.
