Lammermuir Festival

If you love music, and exploring new places, then the Lammermuir Festival is perfect for you. Wonderful musicians perform great music in striking and sometimes unexpected locations across the beautiful Scottish county of East Lothian.

This year’s young artist-in-residence is Scottish guitar phenomenon SEAN SHIBE. Featuring the music of HANDEL, BACH and VIVALDI as well as threading French masterworks through the programme. An entire day devoted to the extraordinary range of the GUITAR as well as working with BBC Radio 3 on a wonderful series of LUNCHTIME SONG RECITALS.

The programme of great music is enhanced by TALKS, WALKS and GARDEN OPENINGS, and the rich food and drink offer of East Lothian.

Most exciting of all is the events at TANTALLON. As part of the Year of Creative Scotland, Lammermuir 2012 has commissioned a unique and spectacular light and music performance at one of Scotland’s most breathtaking historic sites
