 Transport from the airport
 A Direct Rail Link connects Schiphol International Airport to Amsterdam central station and is the fastest and most convenient way to get to the city center. Trains run every 10 minutes (airport train schedule) from platforms 1 and 2 in the main arrival plaza and cost around € 4.00 for a single journey. Have change on hand to use the ticket machines to avoid the queues and € 0.50 surcharge at the ticket office. (Travel time 20 minutes)

Airport Shuttles run by Connexxion depart every 10 minutes with service to more than 100 hotels throughout the city. Tickets cost € 11 one way, € 17.50 for a return, and can be purchased inside the main arrival plaza. Guests of major hotels should first check the shuttle area to see if their hotel provides a complimentary service.
Taxis and Limousines to the city center start at € 40 and can be reserved at the Dutch Business Limousine company.

Direction to MELKWEG from Central Station

MELKWEG Address: Lijnbaansgracht 234a, 1017 PH Amsterdam, The Netherlands

Take Tram 1,2 or 5 to Leidseplein (10 minute by tram)

When you get to the square look for the Bulldog Coffeeshop on your left hand side, walk  2mins away from this to your right and you will come to the Melkweg….(Everyone in Amsterdam knows the location of the Melkweg so if you are unsure please ask someone).

- From Amsterdam Centraal Station catch the train toward Schagen
