HowTheLightGetsIn, the world’s largest philosophy and music festival, returns to Kenwood House, Hampstead Heath on 20th-21st September, bringing a dynamic weekend of groundbreaking ideas, stimulating debates, and live performances to London’s cultural scene.
This year’s festival theme is After the West, A New World, exploring the question, what will the new world look like? What will be its values, and what philosophies will guide it? HowTheLightGetsIn will be exploring these questions through lively debates and talks featuring an extraordinary lineup of thinkers.
Among them are Nobel Prize-winning physicist Roger Penrose, philosopher John Gray known for his provocative views on society, and AI philosopher Susan Schneider, who bridges technology and ethics. Attendees will also hear from pioneering neuroscientist Güneş Taylor and cosmologist Brian Keating, who will challenge conventional perspectives
on the universe.
Beyond the debates, audiences can enjoy a vibrant mix of music, performances, and interactive experiences designed to make philosophy accessible and exciting for all. HowTheLightGetsIn continues to be a unique space where ideas ignite minds and inspire action.
