London's public transport system makes it easy to reach Kensington Gore. The closest Underground (Tube) stations are South Kensington (Circle, District and Piccadilly lines) and High Street Kensington (Circle, District), each about a 10–15 minute walk from the Royal Albert Hall. Gloucester Road station (Circle, District, Piccadilly) is also within easy walking distance. In addition to the Tube, many buses stop near the venue: routes 9, 52 and 360 run along Kensington Gore, providing direct connections to central London and neighborhoods across the city. Night buses (for example, the N9) run late after the Tube has closed, so you can still get home if your plans run past midnight.
If you're flying into London, the city's major airports are well connected to the capital. From Heathrow Airport, take the Heathrow Express train (about 15 minutes) to Paddington, and then the Underground (Circle or District line) to South Kensington. From Gatwick Airport, the Gatwick Express runs to Victoria (about 30 minutes), and the Circle line from there goes directly to South Kensington. Stansted and Luton are farther out, but they offer rail and coach services into central London as well. Once you're in the city, mainline stations like Paddington and Victoria provide quick Tube connections to the Kensington area via transfer onto the Circle or District lines.
If you plan to drive, note that Kensington Gore is accessed via the A4/M4, but this area of London is often busy and on-street parking is extremely limited. Paid parking garages are an option but fill up quickly during events. Taxis (black cabs) can usually be found outside the venue or booked in advance, and Uber or other ride-share services also operate in the area. Cyclists have the option of Santander bike hire stations near the Hall and a few public bike racks (though bike lanes can be narrow in central London). Overall, taking public transport or a taxi is the most convenient way to get to the festival.
Your accommodation options are plentiful in South Kensington and nearby neighborhoods. You will find everything from affordable bed-and-breakfasts and hostels to high-end hotels in this part of London. Popular areas for visitors include South Kensington itself, as well as the nearby districts of Knightsbridge, Chelsea and Earl's Court. Booking well in advance is advised, since South Kensington is a prime tourist location and hotels can fill up quickly, especially during the busy spring season. Staying in these areas means you'll also be close to London's famous museums, shops and dining options, making it easy to combine festival fun with sightseeing.
