Greenwich & Docklands International Festival

Greenwich+Docklands International Festival (GDIF) was founded by Artistic Director Bradley Hemmings in 1996 as an independent festival and it developed out of the former Greenwich Festival.

The festival is London's leading festival of free outdoor performing artists including theatre, dance and street art and the annual 9-10 day celebration contains plenty of outdoor events.

The event has grown every year and in 2014 the festival featured hundreds of performances by national and international companies which attracted more than 110,000 people to the outdoor shows in East and South London.
