Freedom Festival

Hull’s free community festival brings the city to life and celebrates many local musicians and performers as well as attracting talent from further afield. Freedom Festival 2016 is in the ninth year of the celebration and will take place from 2nd until 4th September and includes a whole host of free events, as well as some ticketed shows.
Freedom Festival always has a theme but 2016’s hasn’t been announced yet. It is a family-friendly event which brings together over 200 acts with spoken word, comedy and dance acts performing alongside theatre shows and musicians.
