Cornish Bluegrass Festival

Family friendly and a key date in the Cornish summer season calendar, the Cornish Bluegrass Festival is held at Hendra Holiday Park in Newquay. It started in 2004 and is held every year and celebrates roots and American bluegrass music.
In 2015 it is the 12th annual Cornish Bluegrass Festival and it runs between 18th and 20th September. The line up includes 4 Wheel Drive, Appaloosas, Buffalo Gals and Stampede, The Carrivick Sisters, Dalebilly, The Dude Coopers, Flats and Sharps, Growling Old Men and Ben Somers, Harpeth Rising, Hot Rock Pilgrims, Jacey and Dan, The Jaywalkers, Kentucky Cow Tippers, Morris Boys and many more.
Other activities and facilities include indoor and outdoor fun pool, workshops, a full hog roast, late night bar, gospel session and jam sessions.
