Chester Folk Festival has been organised since 1999 and gives the people of Cheshire the chance to enjoy a wide range of different styles of folk music over the Spring Bank Holiday weekend. Though not actually in the city of Chester and down the road in the picturesque village of Kelsall, it’s an annual event that celebrates folk music and culture.

Chester Folk Festival offers a wide range of live folk music as well as dance bands and callers, sing-a-round and ceilidh. There is dedicated children’s entertainment and workshops for visitors of all ages, as well as market stalls where you can buy crafts and handmade musical instruments.

Camping is available for weekend ticket holders and the event has been gaining popularity since its inception.
