Bury St Edmunds Festival

This year Bury Festival celebrate the 30th anniversary, and have yet another packed and varied programme of events at The Apex, the Theatre Royal, the Abbeygate Cinema and many the other wonderful venues and spaces around the town.

The festival’s predecessor in the early 1980s was a number of weekends of words and music and so to go back to the roots of the festival. You will find wonderful music, fascinating speakers and as well as mixing together words and music we will also be pairing music with film, music with art, classical music with jazz and ballet with juggling!

One of the reasons that the festival is still going strong after 30 years is thanks to the continued generous support of its funders, sponsors and the Festival Friends alongside the ongoing commitment from volunteer stewards and helpers and everyone involved at all the venues and other locations.
