Now in its 50th year Brighton Festival will be returning to the streets of the city from 7th until 29th May. This huge community festival is a celebration of local arts, music, theatre, dance, literature and more and also welcomes in many international acts.
The three-week festival has an expansive and far-reaching programme, some of which is still to be announced. There are no acts confirmed for the contemporary music programme element of the festival but there have been theatre and dance acts confirmed including a brand new full length production from choreographer and dancer Akram Khan. The festival begins as it always has done with the Children’s Parade and the full programme is set to be announced in February.
