Brewood Music Festival

The first Brewood Music Festival took place in 2004 with a free concert in Market Square headlined by The Foundations. By 2006 the main event had moved to its current home at St. Dominic’s High School for Girls, still with events on the preceding evening around the village and with a free concert to finish the event in Market Square on the Sunday. The headliners at this event were Los Pacaminos featuring Paul Young.

2008 saw Showaddywaddy take top billing with a visit by The Animals and friends in 2010. Friends included Spencer Davis, Steve Ellis from Love Affair and Chip Hawkes of The Tremeloes.

The festival in 2012 proved to be one of the biggest and best, headlined by The Manfreds and supported by The Move and rising stars Ellen & The Escapades. It also featured a new event ‘Brewood Introducing’ giving young local musicians an opportunity to be part of the festival.

In 2014 things moved on again. This time the festival was headlined by Toploader and Squeeze legend Glenn Tilbrook. Ably supported by rising stars By The Rivers and Laurence Jones, even a mid-main event downpour couldn’t dampen the spirits of the capacity crowd.

The event has grown steadily since its inception and is now an eagerly anticipated event on the village calendar.
