Back for its 52nd year Billingham International Folklore Festival of World Dance is a celebration of traditional dance and music from around the world. It is running from 12th until 20th August and throughout the nine days there will be hundreds of performers showing off their local culture, traditional dances and more.
Billingham International Folklore Festival takes place across various venues in Billingham, Middlesbrough and Stockton on Tees and as well as the music there are plenty of participatory activities including dance workshops, children’s sessions and more.
The line-up for the festival is yet to be announced but it brings in acts from around the globe.
