These City Walls

These City Walls are a pop-rock band from York, with jungle influences in their sound. The group reforms in 2010 after an earlier version of the band forms in 2005 while the members attend Huntington School in York. The band first performs under the name Airheads and plays at venues around York, including support slots for Glasvegas.

The line-up consists of James Rodgers on vocals and guitar, Ash Lovelace on guitar, Tristan Kirkpatrick on bass and Harry Owen on drums. After the original split, when some members go on to university, the band reunites at Huddersfield University and continues in a more developed form. They also play support gigs for acts including the Bay City Rollers.
