The Record Company
The Record Company is a Los Angeles-based American blues rock band formed in 2011. The group is active from 2011 to the present and is made up of Chris Vos on guitar and lead vocals, Alex Stiff on bass and backing vocals, and Marc Cazorla on drums and backing vocals.
The band is associated with blues and rock, and its sound draws on blues artists such as John Lee Hooker, early punk groups such as The Stooges, and rock bands such as The Rolling Stones. Its arrangements feature slide guitar, distorted bass, a Ludwig drum kit, and Chris Vos’s vocals. The Record Company is Grammy-nominated.
Releases
The Record Company’s debut full-length album, Give It Back to You, is released on Concord Records. In 2018, the band releases “Life to Fix”, the lead single from its second studio album, All of This Life.
