the Idolins are an acoustic folk-pop group from Nottingham. The name is pronounced “EYEDOLLINS”. The band form around a meeting between Karen Smalley-Turner and Claudine West at an open mic night in Nottingham, where they play acoustic music before going on to form the group.

Karen Smalley-Turner is the principal songwriter, vocalist and guitarist. Claudine West plays multiple instruments. In 2010, guitarist and vocalist Nick Scott becomes the third official member of the band.
