The Cosmic Dead
The Cosmic Dead are a Scottish psychedelic rock band from Glasgow. They form in 2010 and remain active. Their line-up includes Lewis Cook, Julian Dicken, Omar Aborida, Tommy Duffin, James T Mckay, Josh Longton and Euan Meikle.
Style and releases
The band are associated with psychedelic rock, space rock, krautrock, experimental and jam band music. They release material in album form on CD and cassette, as well as on download-only compilations.
Live activity and collaborations
The Cosmic Dead play frequently in and around Glasgow and share bills with Cave, White Hills, Pontiak, Abouretum, Gnod, Bong and Mandog. In 2011 they collaborate live with Damo Suzuki of Can, acting as his soundcarriers.
