The Boston Tea Party
The Boston Tea Party is a psychedelic rock group from Burbank, United States. It forms in 1963 and is active until it ends, beginning as a surf act before changing direction in the mid-1960s and becoming a psychedelic band.
Releases
The group makes its recorded debut with the 1967 single Words b/w Spinach, issued on the small Big Boss label and later reissued on Challenge Records, which is associated with Gene Autry. It follows this with two further singles that attract little attention: Is It Love? b/w Don't Leave Me Alone and Free Service b/w Rose In the Night. The first of these appears on Flick Disc, a label affiliated with MGM.

In 1968, the quintet issues its first LP, titled The Boston Tea Party.
