Rainz

Rainz (레인즈) is a South Korean boy group from Seoul, active from 2017 to 2018. It forms as a project group after the second season of the survival show Produce 101, with fan support helping bring the group together, in a model similar to JBJ. The group’s name is given as Rapturously Inspiriting Boyz.

Line-up

The group includes 은기, 기원, 현민, 장대현, 성리, 성혁 and 원탁. The original members are Kim Seongri, Joo Wontak, Lee Kiwon, Hong Eunki, Byun Hyunmin and Seo Sunghyuk. Jang Daehyeon joins the official line-up a few weeks before the debut announcement.

Career

Rainz debuts on 12 October 2017. The group’s contracts last for one year, reflecting its short-term project format.
