Polly and the Billets Doux is a UK group whose music combines blues, country, folk, jazz and rock. The line-up includes Polly Perry on vocals and double bass, Dan Everett on double bass, guitar and vocals, Steeny on lead guitar, slide guitar, harmonica, piano and vocals, and Ben Perry on drums and percussion.

The band signs to Bleak Mouse Records in 2007 and releases the UK chart hit Head of Steam. Their debut album, Fiction, Half-Truths and Downright Lies, follows, and the group also records live sessions for BBC Radio 4 and BBC Radio 6. Their music is played on Radio 2 by Terry Wogan and Bob Harris.
