Paul Ritch

Paul Ritch is a French techno DJ and producer from France, based in Paris. He works in minimal techno and is closely associated with the Paris electronic scene.

Career

He makes his production debut in 2006 with the Samba EP on Resopal Schallware, the label founded by the German tech house duo MRI. He then releases further material on the same label, including Winter Ceremony, Natural Gun and Summer Ceremony in 2007.

In 2007 he also issues EPs on several other labels: Fortuna and June on Get Physical Music, Back to the Time on Fumakilla, Higher on Paradigma Musik and Nordbanhof on MiniSketch. That year his productions also appear on a number of mix albums, including John Digweed’s Transitions, Vol. 3, Gui Boratto’s Addicted, Vol. 2, Layo & Bushwacka!’s Global Underground: Rio and M.A.N.D.Y.’s Ibiza ’07.

He also releases Le Bal Masqué as a collaboration with fellow producer Okain under the Handycraft alias on Kickboxer.

Live work

By 2008 he performs at a number of electronic dance music festivals, including a live set at the Detroit Electronic Music Festival (DEMF).
