Yam Boy is a well-oiled poet machine. His rapping and poetical styles are as much influenced by Radiohead’s thom Yorke as they are Chuck D and Saul Williams and Rabindranath Tagore. His style of intense syllable practice is steeped in politics and spiritual rhetorics, dowsed in ghee and deep-fried.
