Midnight Ambassador is the solo project of André Graça, a musician born in Beja, Portugal, in 1995. He grows up in Beja, where he attends the Regional Music Conservatory and begins his musical training there at the age of six, starting with piano. He continues at the conservatory until he is 18, later learning percussion, saxophone and composition.
After finishing school, he is accepted into the University of Hertfordshire, where he studies Music Composition and Technologies for film and games. Before launching Midnight Ambassador, he works on new music in R&B, pop and indie rock with his friend and fellow musician Eduardo Monteiro, who produces his tracks.
Midnight Ambassador develops as a contemporary R&B and pop project built around Graça’s singing and songwriting. His music is described as using synths, percussion and foley elements, and it draws on influences including Childish Gambino, Caravan Palace, Glass Animals and Ariana Grande.
