M.A.N.D.Y. is a Berlin-based electronic music group made up of Patrick Bodmer, Philipp Jung and M.A.N.D.E.A.R. The project works across minimal techno, house, electro and minimal styles, and comes from Berlin, Germany.

History

Bodmer and Jung are friends from their teenage years and have been party organisers since the mid-1990s. They first gain wider recognition after the release of two mix albums: Get Physical, which sums up the first two years of the label of the same name, and the first volume of the Body Language series.

Along with DJ T. and Booka Shade, they help establish Get Physical, which becomes one of Germany’s most popular dance labels by its tenth release. M.A.N.D.Y. also works closely with Booka Shade on remixes and tracks, including the 2005 single “Body Language”.

Mixes and releases

The group contributes mixes for a number of labels and series, including At the Controls for Resist in 2006, Fabric 38 for Fabric in 2008, and Renaissance: The Mix Collection for Renaissance in 2009. They mark Get Physical’s seventh anniversary with a limited mix CD in 2009, and they mix the tenth edition of the Body Language series in 2011.

After collaborations with Adultnapper and Lopazz, and the 2015 EP Remixes, M.A.N.D.Y. release their debut artist album Double Fantasy in 2016.
