Loxy is a UK drum and bass DJ and producer, also associated with darkstep. He begins raving in 1989/1990 at events such as Telepathy, and soon becomes involved in the developing drum and bass culture after coming from a B-boy background.

Career

His first DJ sets take place in 1990 at Psychotic and Time events. He goes on to hold residencies at Metalheadz, Renegade Hardware and Therapy, and he plays at events including Club Jungle, Desire, Logical Progression, Speed, Swerve, Elevation, One Nation, Slammin Vinyl, Valve, Break Beat Kaos, Revolution, Legend of the Dark, Movement, The End and Theory.

Production and collaborations

From around 1993/1994, Loxy turns to production and issues releases on a number of respected drum and bass labels. He also works with Bad Company, Ink, Keaton, Dylan, Digital, Gremlinz, Verse, Manifest, Bay B, Kane, T.D.K., Swift, Zinc, Amaning, Sin, D Kay, J Dub, Damage, Usual Suspects and Universal Project.

Labels and projects

He owns the labels Karma, X-Tinction Agenda, Cylon and X-Factor. He is also linked with CX:Digital, Cylon Recordings and I.L.R. Studios, and with the projects 4 Horsemen, Fifth Element and Module Eight. He is associated with Loxy & Resound and is identified as Andrew Campbell.
