Lez Zeppelin

Lez Zeppelin is a New York, United States-based all-female tribute act performing the music of Led Zeppelin. The group forms in 2004 and remains active.

Recording and releases

In April 2007, after touring in the United States and Europe, the band releases its first album, Lez Zeppelin. Eddie Kramer produces the record; he has previously worked as a recording engineer on several Led Zeppelin albums. In 2010, the group goes back into the studio to record a second album, Lez Zeppelin II.

Touring and live appearances

Following the debut album, Lez Zeppelin is invited to play festivals including Download Festival in the UK, Rock am Ring and Rock im Park in Germany, and the Voodoo Festival in New Orleans. During 2008, the band continues touring in the United States and makes its first visit to Japan in support of the debut release. In March 2009, it plays a benefit concert in Mumbai.

The group includes Sarah Tomek, Shannon Conley, Leesa Harrington-Squyres, Steph Paynes, Megan X Thomas, Lisa Brigantino, Helen Destroy and Sarah McLellan.
