Krupskaya is a grind band from Staffordshire, UK, formed in 2005 from the ashes of other local hardcore and grindcore bands. The original lineup was Alex - vocals (ex FHP / Kzzch) Tim - guitar (ex Kzzch) and Ed - drums (ex FHP/Skincheese) and John - bass guitar. Shortly after the band's first European Tour in 2008, JJ left the band and was replaced by two bass players over the following years: Stacey and Skulda (Sheva Yoga / Prugelknabe / Vocatio Interna). Ed left the band in 2009 and was replaced by Mark (ex Nervaxis), before the band went on hiatus in 2010. In 2013, Ed returned to the UK and Matt (After The Last Sky / FHP / Kzzch) joined to complete the new lineup. Since its inception in 2005 Krupskaya has toured in 23 countries and released over 70 tracks on 2 CDs, 4 records, and various compilations. The music is characterized by the extreme violence of delivery and intensity of conviction. Later recordings have displayed a move to a more technical approach within the music without any compromise on the intensity.
