Junkman's Choir
Junkman's Choir is a group from South Ayrshire, Scotland, formed in 2003. Its line-up includes members from the disbanded Ayrshire groups Nyah Fearties and Dub Skelper. The band describes its sound as a blend of “semtexmex-stompabilly-shanty-punk”, and it takes its name from a lyric in Tom Waits’ 1999 song “Come on up to the House”.

The band records a full-length album titled Control, which contains 11 songs. It also releases The Uprising EP, a four-track set made up of “The Uprising”, “Cheap Disguise”, “Martyrs and Machines”, and a version of Brian Goss’ “Take Me Down”.
