John Player Specials
John Player Specials are a ska punk group from Manchester, originally formed in Wigan in 2006. They begin with small shows around Wigan and later become established in the Manchester underground ska scene.
Style and influences
The group play a mix of reggae and ska with a punk edge. Their influences come from the reggae-ska underground, and they also draw on politically oriented bands such as Capdown, alongside acts including The King Blues, Catch-it Kebabs and Harijan.
Members
The lineup includes Jordan on vocals and guitar, Dizzy on guitar, Elliot on bass, Jimmy on trombone, Johnnie on trumpet, and Ol on drums.

They have two CD releases available.
