Jen Jeniro
Jen Jeniro is a Welsh group from North Wales, formed in 2005 and active from that point onwards. The band is associated with Welsh psychedelia and develops from an early blend of indie, hip-hop and folk into a more psychedelic sound. Its members are Eryl Jones, Llŷr Pari and Gwion Schiavone.
Releases and recognition
The band’s album Geleniaeth is released in 2008 on the Welsh indie label Sbrigyn Ymborth and is produced by John Lawrence, formerly of Gorkys Zygotic Mynci. In 2011, Jen Jeniro releases the EP Swimming Limbs on I KA CHING Records.
The song “Dolphin Pink and Yellow” wins the 2010 BBC Radio Cymru RAP Award for best song and also wins the 2010 Best Single Award from Y Selar magazine.
