Jameson Raid is a heavy rock group from Birmingham, United Kingdom, associated with the New Wave of British Heavy Metal movement. The group is active from 1977 to the present.

Line-up

The core line-up includes Terry Dark on vocals, Ian Smith on guitar, John Ace on bass and Phil Kimberley on drums. Other members listed include Eric Kaldschmidt and Neudi.

Releases and material

The group releases two EPs, Seven Days Of Splendour and End Of Part One. They also have a demo cassette commonly referred to as the Electric Sun demo, which includes Steve Makin on guitar. One of their best-known tracks is Seven Days Of Splendour, and another song mentioned in connection with them is It's a crime.

Notes

Jameson Raid are described as an original hard rock live band, and their name is also used by another group from Leeds, The Jameson Raid, which is separate from this act. A song titled One City is not by Jameson Raid.
