Island Cassettes

Island Cassettes are a worldbeat and indie rock band from Kent, England. The project begins as a solo endeavour in 2011 and then develops into a full band.

Their sound draws on indie rock, folk, French pop and South African sokous, and is described as percussion-led and harmony-driven, with layered guitar and bass riffs. After self-releasing a set of demos, the band’s debut single, Navajo, is issued on Kissability Records in 2014.
