In-Flight Safety is a Canadian indie rock group from Sackville, Canada, active since 2003. The band is made up of Brad Goodsell, Daniel Ledwell, John Mullane, Glen Nicholson and Chris Pennell.

Overview

The group develops a melodic indie rock sound and builds its profile through live performance, radio appearances, festival showcases and recordings that reach audiences in North America and Europe. Its early work includes The Coast is Clear and We Are an Empire, My Dear, both of which help establish a fan base in North America, the UK and Germany.

Career

It draws inspiration from contemporary indie bands including Wild Nothing, The Walkmen and DIIV. The album combines guitar hooks, darker imagery and detailed production, and Gus van Go mixes it in Brooklyn, New York.
