I Wear* Experiment
I Wear* Experiment is an Estonian group from Tallinn, active from 2012 and based around electropop and indie pop. The line-up includes Johanna Eenma, Hando Jaksi and Mikk Simson.
Style and recording approach
The group’s music draws on a mix of styles, ranging from nordic jazz to synthesised industrial textures. Its sound is described as partly instrumental and partly improvised, built from material gathered in studio sessions and live recordings.
Background
The recordings are associated with Tallinn’s Telliskivi area and with southern Estonia, and the project is centred on Hando Jaksi, with contributions from people around him.
