Goodbye Mr. Mackenzie

Goodbye Mr. Mackenzie is a Scottish post-punk group from Bathgate, near Edinburgh. Active from 1983 to the present, the band is best known for its late 1980s and early 1990s recordings and for featuring Shirley Manson, later of Garbage, as a keyboard player and background vocalist.

Line-up

The group includes Martin Metcalfe on lead vocals, John Duncan on guitar, Rona Scobie on keyboards, Fin Wilson on bass guitar, and Derek Kelly on drums. Other members associated with the band include Ewan Drysdale, Jamie Waterson, Chuck Parker, Jimmy Anderson, Neil Baldwin, Jim Brady and Shirley Manson.

Goodbye Mr. Mackenzie releases include Good Deeds and Dirty Rags on Capitol, Fish Heads and Tails on Capitol, Hammer and Tongs on Radioactive, Live (On The Day Of Storms), Five, Jezebel and The Glory Hole on Blokshok, and Good Deeds & Dirty Rags on Razor & Tie. The band also issues the compilation Fish Heads and Tails.
