Feast Of Fiddles
Feast Of Fiddles is an English and Scottish folk fiddle collective formed around a tour in 2001. It is the brainchild of Hugh Crabtree and brings together a rotating line-up of leading fiddle players with a rock-based backing band.
Line-up
The group includes, among others, Dave Mattacks, Joe Broughton, Brian McNeill, Tom Leary, Ian Cutler, Phil Beer, Peter Knight, Chris Leslie, Dave Harding, Martin Vincent, John Underwood and Hugh Crabtree. Among the musicians named in the line-up, Dave Mattacks is associated with Fairport Convention, Phil Beer with Show of Hands, Peter Knight with Steeleye Span, and Martin Vincent with The Albion Band.
