Fauna Twin

Fauna Twin is a duo made up of Parisian singer-songwriter Claire Jacquemard and North Wales musician Owain Ginsberg, who is also known as the leader of Hippies Vs Ghosts and We Are Animal. The pair work in a pop-influenced style they describe as a hybrid form of shoegaze, drama-pop, with an emphasis on textures, structures and built rhythm sections.

Releases and activity

The duo releases its debut single, Water On Mars, and its EP The Hydra in 2016. It supports the release with a series of shows across Europe. The group also circulates unfinished tracks that attract positive attention from BBC6 and online media in the UK, US and Canada. A debut album is scheduled for release in 2017.

Musical influences

Fauna Twin cites a wide range of influences, including Queen, King Crimson, PJ Harvey, Fiona Apple, R. Stevie Moore and Radiohead.
