Emma-Jane Thommen

Emma-Jane Thommen is a singer-songwriter and pianist. She begins playing piano at the age of six and starts writing songs in her teens. Her early musical influences range from Johnny Cash and Queen to a wider group of singer-songwriters including Joni Mitchell, Tracy Chapman, Carole King, Sheryl Crow, Carly Simon and Tori Amos.

She first performs with an Edinburgh band, which receives positive early reviews, before building an audience around Edinburgh and then returning to London. In London, she becomes a regular performer at venues including The Bedford, The Cobden Club and Ginglik, as well as in numerous piano bars. She often performs either solo or with her band, and her live work also takes her to Europe, the Middle East and the United States.

Thommen records and releases a self-titled debut album. Alongside her original songs, she also performs covers.
