Dance For Burgess is an Italian group playing indie, post-punk, psychedelic and garage-influenced music. The band consists of Jacopo on vocals and bass, and Marco on guitars and noise.

The project forms around two young musicians who describe their work in terms of “capsules of sounds” made in wooded suburban settings, with an emphasis on a precise artistic dialogue and a faithful representation of the message of Burgess. The band also compares its sound to Edgard Varèse, while presenting it in a different way.

In August 2008, the duo lives in a haunted basement in Tuscany while working on unusual recordings. Their public presence includes a Myspace page under the name danceforburgess.
