Coheed and Cambria

Coheed and Cambria are an American progressive rock band from Nyack, New York, active since 2001. Their sound combines progressive rock with progressive metal, alternative rock, punk rock, metal, post-hardcore, emo-pop and pop punk. The group is made up of Claudio Sanchez, Travis Stever, Josh Eppard and Zach Cooper, with Sanchez on vocals, guitars and keyboards, Stever on guitars and vocals, Eppard on drums, keyboards and backing vocals, and Cooper on bass and backing vocals. Other listed members include Michael Todd, Chris Pennie and Zachary Cooper.

Most of the band's albums are concept records linked to The Amory Wars, a science fiction storyline created by Claudio Sanchez and later expanded into comic books and a full-length novel. The band also works with a broader story cycle known as the Vaxis saga, which returns to that concept after The Color Before the Sun, their first non-concept album. Coheed and Cambria have released nine studio albums, three live albums and several special-edition releases.

Several of their albums reach the Billboard top 10, including The Color Before the Sun, The Afterman: Descension, Year of the Black Rainbow and Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through The Eyes of Madness.
